Porsche Design Gravity Car for a green drive without engine

porsche gravity car1
With Porsche Design at work, it’s obvious to expect the finest result. And when teamed with efforts from 3dyn, we can undoubtedly keep our fingers crossed for nothing but the best. Designed by Senior Designer at Porsche Design, Mark Clarke, the Porsche Design Gravity Car has been made achievable by 3dyn. With the data, they created high density foam master models, high temperature fiberglass molds, and finally pre-preg carbon fiber body shells. The cars are fully functional, with high-performance downhill mountain bike disc brake systems, rack and pinon steering (with carbon fiber, F1 style steering) and 4-point safety harness. Leaving out a few, 3dyn created all other components in house, the majority being either carbon fiber or aircraft aluminum. Though we won’t see this hitting the roads in 2008, we can definitely keep our fingers crossed too see the Porsche Design Gravity Car a year later.

From 3dyn’s website :
“3dyn will not participate for 2008, as new commitments have precluded us from being able to build another 10+ cars this year. However we may still assist in the design process, if needed. 2008 should be “electrifying” for Zero E Racing.”
