Years of research and development in electric vehicle technology has finally paid off for Taiwanese automaker Luxgen with the launch of Luxgen7 MPV EV+; the world’s first 7 passenger EV. The fully electric version developed with the assistance from AC propulsion incorporates a lithium-ion battery pack that enables a cruising range of over 200 miles at a fixed speed of 25mp/h on a single charge. The EV can spring from 0 to 100 Km/h (0 to 62 mph) in just 8.6 seconds.
The LUXGEN7 MPV EV+ has an outstanding energy conversion rate at up to 80% which is 1.7 times higher than a hybrid and diesel vehicle, and 2 times higher than a gasoline-powered vehicle.
