NuVo’s latest product NuVo Essentia EG6, a multizone audio system will use only 1watt of electricity when in standby mode. That certainly is great news but the greater news is, its affordable price. NuVo Essentia EG6 is available in the market at $2299 M.S.R.P.
The Essentia EG6 features are similar to the Grand Concerto. It has a simple sleek control pad pretty much like the Grand Concerto with an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display, providing full metadata feed back.
Its polycarbonate surface makes it scratch resistant and water resistant. The rubber membrane under the buttons is an additional precaution. The perfectly flat display screen makes it amenable to visualization and bright contrasting light enables reading at different intensities of light.
The system can provide six sources to up to six zones, with 40 watts per zone. It can also be expanded up to 12 zones. Essential uses Philips class D digital audio amplification giving sharp, uniform sound. It also comes with a bidirectional control interface, allowing to be used with home automation systems.
Its nice that technology has decided to go green too. Thats a good sign to better living.
