Climate change is turning catastrophic. And nuclear energy may just be the source of energy that can recover our planet from this treacherous disaster! 36 percent of U.S. emissions are produced by more than 600 coal-fired electric plants here. It is nearly 10 percent of global CO2 emissions produced by it, which is the major greenhouse gas to be blamed for climate change.
The only large-scale, cost-effective energy source to relieve the atmosphere of these emissions is nuclear energy. On the other hand, it continues to satiate the swelling necessity for power.
The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad eventually also announced that his country had enriched uranium. He said,
The nuclear technology is only for the purpose of peace and nothing else.
