North Jersey School to go solar with 50% of electricity produce

North Jersey’s Gerrard Berman Day School at Solomon Schechter (GBDS-SSNJ) is to go solar soon. It is located in the Bergen County community of Oakland. GBDS-SSNJ will be purchasing electricity generated by the sun, from a system that is provided by WorldWater & Power. And it will be installed on the roof of the school.

By accepting WorldWater’s Alternative Clean Energy Services (ACES) plan, With this plan, the school will be able to save money over a 10-year period. Approximately 50% of the school’s power needs will be provided by the solar electricity. The value of constructing this project is $850,000.
