North Dakota gets the new Wilton Energy Center. The wind turbines of the new wind energy project are 260-foot tall. The creation of the wind farm will not only provide alternative and eco-friendly source for energy generation, but will also create jobs and economic growth in the state.
The turbines will generate power of a total capacity of almost 50 megawatts. And, this production is enough to provide electricity power to 15,000 homes. The construction of the Wilton project took just five years, starting in August last year, and finishing in January. The wind project is owned and operated by Florida Power and Light.
