“We are proud to be green in color and also in deed”. This is how Thad Sheely, the New York Jets executive vice president of finance and stadium development expressed the team’s excitement over the largest photovoltaic system installed at any National Football League team headquarters.
Giving a boost its green image the team’s 120,000 square foot Atlantic Health Training Center in Florham Park, N.J has been equipped with 3,000 solar panels capable of generating 750,000 KWh of electricity per year.Other than Yingli Solar which supplied the solar panels the installation was overseen by SunDurance Energy, Evolution Energies, and Syncarpha Capital, which will own and operate the system.
