White sandy beaches, plenty of breeze and the sun shining up on you- that pretty much is as close to the amazing holiday as you will ever get. There is indeed something magical about the ocean that draws you deep in to it. Every time you go further, you only want to go a bit further and find out what it looks like around the next bend. Maybe it is human instinct or the magic of the vast blue that surrounds us. Maybe for someone like me who is stuck in a congested concrete jungle most of the time it represents freedom and unabated joy. Now we have the Nereus to take us on that magical ride with clean energy and even that trip beneath the surface!
That’s the basic idea behind the “Nereus” water craft by designer Mathias Koehler. Powered by none other than Mother Nature herself, this water craft can deliver hours of fuel free fun above and below the water. Steering is managed via foot pedals and the diving function is handled vie the hand grips controlling the pivoting fins at the base. Sailing into the wind is a simple as traditional zig-zag tacking. Nereus offers you a wonderful clean and green trip on a beautiful day.
With the coasts of the world getting more and more polluted, it is only natural that we try and make our stay at the beach as clean and pollution free as we can. We are not there to leave an indelible scar on the planet, but to add wonderful and long lasting memories in our own lives and Nereus allows you to do exactly that. It is taking a plunge in to the lap of nature without leaving back an ugly scar and that truly is welcome!
