Amidst soaring concerns over rising fuel prices, it is even great to think of gasoline getting obsolete as an engine fuel. If you desire the same, a small company in north central Iowa is quietly hoping to do exactly this, to execute your dream in reality.
Ted Hollinger started this company. The 65-year-old initially focuses on making engines that are not only more efficient, but friendlier to the environment as well. These engines can easily replace the ones used in generators and in forklift trucks, airline ground equipment, irrigation pumps, tractors and buses.
Ted Hollinger said,
Our engine has to bolt in where the old engine went and can’t be a thread off… If you do that and you make improvements in it so that it gets rid of emissions and it’s more efficient, then I think people are going to like it.
The company has a ready-made lucrative market as according to it, American Airlines alone has 9,500 vehicles, which over the next decade, are likely to be converted to alternative fuels.
