Mitsubishi’s MiEV range of electric cars has seen frequent modifications since 2006. Previously available only in Japan, the company is now revamping the vehicle to make it ready for European countries. The 2011 i-MiEV, which features redesigned front and rear bumpers comply with EU rules and features a rearranged instrument panel and increased interior comfort.
The vehicle also includes improved safety features with the addition of Active Stability Control (ASC) as well as side and curtain airbags. The European variant can also be taken as a good chance that this electric beauty could go global sometime in the near future.
