Marathon Texas: Return to Nature

marathon texas

Marathon is a prosperous tourist destination all along U.S. 90 with typical hostelries, restaurants, shops and colonnade allied to its setting in the momentous and scenic Big Bend of West Texas. Defined by the Rio Grande River’s bend to the south and flowing to the Gulf of Mexico, thus, Big Bend National Park was baptized. Out of a total 107 houses, three are extensions of Paper Crete. Eve’s Garden Organic Bed and Breakfast and Ecology Resource Center further their papier maché-cum-construction that includes a muddle of old newspapers and magazines, sand and Portland concrete, fashioned to any shape.

Undoubtedly, you’ll find yourself very near to nature here. The scenic town exhibits greens blossoming with night-flourishing jasmine and the sporadic rose, flower-filled courtyards, and freedom to keep your pets with you as per your wish. Here, the Middle-East architecture is evident everywhere, presenting terra cotta-colored showground, the adobes and timber outlined houses, and rooms painted in varied dyes. The solar-heated lap pool/meditation room and a hidden hot tub intensify the grace of its hotels. The natives are so engrossed in nature out here that they inspire the outer world to return to nature.
