Losing Lottery Tickets finally make the Hummer H3 an eco-winner

If you have been following anything on the auto news segment, then you will know that I have complained about being haunted by the Hummer. Now the ‘curse of the Hummer’ is becoming more real with each passing day. But for once, I am happy about the piece of news that surrounds the Hummer. The husband-wife art duo of Lauren Was and Adam Eckstrom wanted to make their own H3, and they used $35,000 in worthless lottery tickets to get the job done. This piece of art is obviously filled with losing tickets and I guess that is apt in building a Hummer. For once, the monstrous Hummer has gone eco-friendly.

The final H3 Lottery Edition looks incredibly true to life, and it includes windshield wipers, tires, tow hooks, and all its body panels made entirely out of lottery tickets. The rims are plastic molds lined with coins that represent the principal tool people use to scratch off the tickets. So basically you get everything that reminds you of your lost chances in this piece of art. It is called ‘Ghost of a Dream’, while it could well be called the ‘Heartbreak Hummer’ or ‘A devil in lottery’. (Yes, the Elvis influence just does not ever wear off).

More than talking about the Hummer, I think it is apt to say that the vehicle represents all the good work one can do by taking up more than one vice. The Hummer is not a green vehicle and neither is lottery a very wonderful option in life. Add to that, the fact that tons of paper that goes waste. Now that paper is recycled in to a piece of art. This really is cool and well done to those who made this wonderful new Hummer H3.
