Just imagine 16 million different shades all flashing before your eyes and filling up the space around you. Visual Magic, one might say, is something that has become a bit of a common feature since the day LEDs have made their entry in to the world of lighting. It is almost as many shades that you cannot even distinguish between so many. But still one would like that kind of variety at their disposal and varying with the click of a button. Last year, Philips showed off their LivingColor lamps at a media event. Although these efficient, color-changing LED lights are still not available in the U.S., you can now buy your own for a hefty £97 ($191) from the U.K.
That might be a very huge price to pay for lights around your place, but if you take a look at these lamps once, then you will be mesmerized and maybe even tempted to pay that kind of cash for the spectacular lights. If you are having that big wedding and want 16 million shades to shine on your special night then this would be the thing to go for.
Each compact light can illuminate 16 million unique colors, all of which can be controlled via an included wireless RF remote. You can set any remote to control up to six fixtures simultaneously, keeping their colors in synchronization for a dramatic effect. Since it uses some seriously bright LEDs, Philips designed a special heat sink into the lamp that looks more like a work of art than a technical necessity. Now that truly is something with plenty of glitz and dazzling green energy!
