Kanso: The Indian version Solar Hybrid Car

100cc hybrid car

This time it’s India’s turn to feel proud! A man called Kanak Gogoi, who resides in the city of Guwahati, India, has designed a new hybrid car, which he has named the Kanso. This is not just another ordinary vehicle, but is a revolutionary memento in the history of Energy Conservation. The Kanso is a two-seater that runs on energy extracted from four solar panels, which can generate 320 watts of power, and some petrol (100 c.c).

This exceptional automobile doesn’t have gears. According to its inventor Gogoi says, “This small car will have a top speed of 40 kmph and could sell for Rs 1.50 lacs.” This inimitable car is about to be introduced for the first time at the Guwahati Auto Fair when it starts on February 28.
Kanak Gogoi and his Kanso have created some good stir as not just the Assam Tribune but also the US-based group, Center Bits and Atom have approved of Gogoi and granted him financial help to situate a new digital lab for developing his new-fangled innovations. Kanso is just a feather in Gogoi’s crown who has invented a host of other innovative and unique stuff as well.

According to the Taipei Times, “Gogoi has also invented a power hang glider, four-stroke engine boat, water cycle and amphibious boat”. So that is some news! Kudos! Gogoi, we are proud of you and your fertile intelligence.
