Eco Factor: Shape changing concept truck powered by hydrogen fuel cells.
The KAMAZ Flex Futurum by designers Elena Petrova and Konstantin Fedorov is a zero-emission truck concept that has been designed to behave like a train on the road. Designed for the year 2040, the Flex Futurum features systems that allow the vehicle to increase its size from 7.5m to 20m depending on the load.
Powered by electric motors that are fueled by hydrogen fuel cells, the Futurum is a zero-emission concept that will make freight transport greener. The Flex Futurum is equipped with everything necessary to provide a comfortable stay for the operator. The interiors include a bathroom, kitchen and other modern amenities.
The vehicle changes its length using its telescopic longitudinal beams that are included in the body. The movable body parts are made of a flexible membrane and a system of cables.
