Visitors at the Busan International Motor Show 2008 were treated to a dazzling new eco-friendly concept car by Hyundai Motors who presented their stunning ‘i-Mode’ at the event. The six-seater MPV prototype features a revolutionary ‘Swivel Seat’ design concept created by Keiper that will allow front passengers to swivel and face second and third row occupants. The entire upholstery in the car has been created in Cognac leather lacquered in burgundy which combines with the car’s semi-panoramic two-tone rooftop, offering an aura of utmost luxury. The ‘i-mode’ is powered by a 2,200cc, 2.2-litre R diesel unit with two-stage turbo charging pumping out 215 PS and 461 Nm of torque while the lighter body construction coupled with an efficient fuel consumption and reduced emission make this car a promising eco-friendly prospect.
