The concept of zero-emission electric vehicles along with high performance gains further momentum as Mitsubishi puts forth it’s new electric car ‘i MIEV Sport ‘.

The car incorporates a solar roof, two compact wind turbines built into the front grill, and a regenerative braking system and an aluminum body to keep down the weight.

Most of the lighting system is LED-based with two electric motors in the front to empower front wheels and one for rear wheels. Heat absorbing window glasses do much for air conditioning in addition to Mitsubishi’s lithium ion batteries, which can store enough electricity whenever sunlight is present.

With a single time full charge, the car can cover a range of 200 kilometers with maximum speed of 180 kilometers per hour. What makes it friendly to environment is the use of Green Plastic for interior components and capability to provide high performance with zero-emission.

Modifications in the previous Mitsubishi model have shown the possibilities of delivering an affordable green vehicle just to eliminate one of major reason responsible for carbon emission.

New i MIEV Sport is all in all keen to emphasize on the need to contribute towards reduction of global warming as well as energy crisis which seems scaring in the future.
