Honda has now come up with a new uniform for its 2007 Formula One race car. They have artistically covered the cars, to be driven by Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello, with the images of the earth’s surface as seen from the space. Honda plans to use these pictures to raise environmental awareness.

The RA107 challenger does not features traditional sponsorship logos now. Honda’s F1 supporters including Universal Music, Gatorade, Fila and IBM have agreed to favor the rights to use the ‘earth car’ image in promotions and advertising.

Honda team boss Nick Fry said that the ‘climate change is probably the single biggest issue facing the global community, and F1 is not immune from it.’ F1 is far and wide anticipated to slip in ‘energy recovery’ devices on its cars by the end of the decade.
