Autodesk is the company that brought us the renowned AutoCAD software, which engineers and architects have used countless number of times in their life for some effective rendering of 2D plans and 3D designs. And now in the present scenario, the company is certainly making headway in the all important automotive sector, as Green Lite Motors (green technology oriented company) is utilizing their Product Design Suite (with its intricate features) to design a fuel efficient three-wheeled hybrid vehicle.

Though classified under the category of motorbikes, this trike will actually embody the solidity of a car with enhanced performance and improved safety. With a capacity for two passengers, the drive mechanism will be comprised of a dual system – a hybrid gas engine and low emission electric motors. The system will be efficaciously synchronized for extended range of 250 miles (400km) for long drives along the highways, and for optimum fuel efficiency of 100 miles/gallon for short spurts along the cramped city blocks. The top speed would range up to 85 miles/hr (136 km/hr).

Coming to the accentuated safety features, the vehicle will incorporate a steel roll cage, four-point safety harnesses, and conventional front airbags. This certainly make the ride apt for an optimized level of passenger comfort, especially considering the inclusion of other user-friendly utilities such as the HVAC system and even a sound system.
