Gordon Murray turns dark into green with new Batmobile concept

Batmobile
The iconic Gordon Murray, with McLaren F1 and that T-27 city car design under his belt, has just unveiled his Bat-ride. This concept car, after raising initial interest, went on the receiving end. While Murray claimed to turn batman green with his concept, the new Batmobile is said to be dark enough for the Dark Knight as it uses quite some amount of carbon fiber.

However, people find his jargon a bit hard to fully grasp when he talks of a breathing carbon-fiber body and LED-lights which give the vehicle “virtual wheels”. Perhaps that’s because, as Murray explains, them being materials to be be realized some 15-20 years hence. However, the concept is based on Formula One materials.

So, how is this new Bat-ride going to behave? The celebrated designer goes on to claim that it will hold the rider’s your tumbler safe upon blocks in the front yard. It means freedom to itch for a new project while the dark mobile zooms ahead. And, as a crusader Batman goes on a mission, he would be saved a guilt as his vehicle would not be oozing too much carbon dioxide. Is that a promise to turn Dark into Green? Yeah, Murray seems to promise.
