Gone are the days when you could just whistle merrily on your daily bike ride to school/work/grocery store. These days even a hint of a whistle in a public place can land you a hefty sexual harassment lawsuit from the next bimbo who happens to be going the same way as you and your innocent self-expression! But since everybody loves a good tune to pedal along to and not everybody likes a bike with built-in MP3 player, designer Joseph Kim invented the Sound from Wind, a handy bike accessory that produces sounds similar to an ocarina. It functions basically on the same principles as a flute but instead of you blowing your lungs out in this thing, it uses the acoustic properties of the blowing wind to make beautiful music as you pedal along. Neat!
