It has been built keeping in view the sub-tropical climate of the area which means heavy rainfall, intense heat and severe humidity. To survive these harsh conditions designer has employed multistage overhanging ring truss system. This system comprises of horizontal and vertical rings with diagonal bracing for additional reinforcement. This structure also allows light and air to penetrate into the building making both lighting and shading possible.

The structure consists of three arenas, main arena, sub-arena and citizen’s arena. All the three domes or arenas are functionally linked together. Water spaces have been provided outside the arenas which provide an option of natural ventilation except for a few humid months when artificial cooling is used. This magnificent ecofriendly architectural design is surely something the locals can boast of.
