It seems that some banks across the planet are going greener than they normally do and that is not just the green on the counter. I always thought that the amount of interest that any bank employee showed in his customer is directly related to the green he put in the bank. If you were one of the smaller customers then you can just wait at the back of the line. This may not be true everywhere in the world, but surely is apt for the place I live in. But now banks are going green by making sure that they help the planet.
First Federal Savings Bank is located in Mishawaka, Indiana and just opened last week. The local press gave the retail pad some pretty positive coverage and for good reason too. The LEED Registered, $2.5 M branch relies on a wind turbine, solar panels, energy efficient windows, a grid board compressed-straw panels, permeable pavers, and geothermal heating and cooling. This means that the bank is not just something green but it also encourages all the customers it has to go green.

The bank is loaded with green features and it allows the bank to save plenty of money over the long term. The bank has plenty of green impetus and it allows both the customers and the bank employees to switch over to greener technology. The bank also has separate parking place for hybrid cars and that is really a nice and sublime way to ensure that people go green. Hopefully that caches on across the planet.
