Recycling is no longer cool just because it helps the wounded planet heal but it also has gotten in to a phase where the shades and hues offered by it are as good if not better than the ones offered by conventional materials that are used to craft designer items. The DuPont Corian Terra Collection has been made out of recycled elements and this collection of 25 shades of surfaces is as beautiful and special as any.
Terra Collection of surfacing contains pre-consumer recycled material and can be used in a variety of applications including kitchen and bathroom countertops, backsplashes, wet bars, tub decks and tub and shower surrounds. Available in 25 colors, the collection includes warm neutrals and jewel tones. The collection has certain amount of recycled material in it if not completely. The flooring looks stunningly good and could light up any home.
Seven of the colors of the Terra Collection are certified by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) to have at least 13 percent pre-consumer recycled material and 18 of the colors are made with at least 6 percent pre-consumer recycled content. The surfaces are low-VOC emitting, nonporous and Greenguard Indoor Air Quality Certified. The price per sq. ft. is approximately $40 to $75. It comes with a 10-year residential installed transferable limited warranty from DuPont. If you are in a lookout for a new flooring then be sure to check it out.
