Eco Factor: Zero-emission vehicle powered by electric engine.
The Epsilon is a zero-emission vehicle envisioned by designer Igor Kolar for the streets of the future. The two-seater vehicle is powered by an all-electric engine running on lithium-ion batteries. The 4m-long vehicle has a range of about 150km and a top speed of about 130kph.
The fuel-efficient vehicle reduces energy consumption by using an insulated body work that lowers load on the air conditioning system and LED lighting systems. The vehicle is powered by two electric motors powering all four wheels. The battery packs are equally distributed between the two compartments to better distribute the weight.
The Epsilon also includes a pair of photovoltaic panels mounted on the roof that power the car’s entertainment system, lights and the heating system.
