Eco Factor: Rooftop solar plant capable of generating 15MW of green power.
An Italian Padua warehouse and truck-loading complex, is planning to build the world’s largest rooftop solar plant, which will be able to generate a whopping 15MW of electricity. Solon SE will supply 67,500 PV modules, which during sunshine will generate enough electricity to power about 5,000 households.
The installation process will begin in September at the Interporto di Padova. The modules will be made in Carmigiano di Brenta in Italy by a subsidiary of Solon SE.
