Eco Factor: Solar-powered systems will provide clean and green energy.
Sacred Power and Cyberlux will be lighting the U.S. borders very soon with their solar powered systems. And the U.S. Department of Defense and Cyberlux have joined hands to provide energy to the Middle East. This will set the army troops free from carrying bulky batteries and generators in far off areas. Devices such as night vision spotlights are also said to be included in the plan. Solar-powered lights are claimed to be 1000 times brighter as compared to regular bulbs. Well, that’s definitely adorable. Sacred Power holds a reputation of signing the largest sun panel arrangement at the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute in Albuquerque and already providing energy to 400 homes through its $20,000 systems. Only time will tell how much satisfactory will the results be. However, this step is appreciable for the U.S. Defense Department’s inclination toward the green trend.
The Dark Side: Solar-powered systems are good for passive environments, whereas the military may find it difficult to rely solely upon these systems dependable on renewable energy, especially when the weather is not supportive.
