Touted to be the most ecologically sustainable supermarket for the 21st Century, the concept of this Eco Supermarket was conjured up by Michael Bonnick along with a group of Central Saint Martins design students. And it’s not just a standard super market that will house few eco-friendly products to be known as eco market. Right from scratch every bit of this supermarket will revolve around reducing carbon footprints and of course ingeniously incorporating the three Rs. Aimed to resolve environmental issues surrounding products from the start to end of their life cycles, this supermarket intends to sustain itself by recycling and re-manufacturing waste. Further more by partnering with customers, producers, manufacturers, and recycling centers, this system can be the best solution to resolve sustainable development issues. This green concept should be realized ASAP!
