Eco Factor: Two-wheelers powered by electric hub motors.
Electricity is the fuel of the future, however, most of the motorcycles and scooters that get electrified don’t offer speed or range. XtremeGreenProducts is set to break all barriers with their newest range of electric two-wheelers that do give the much wanted speed without sacrificing on the range.
The motorcycle is listed to have a 4 KW hub motor that is to be powered by a 2.88 KWh lithium-ion battery pack, which is claimed to power the motorcycle to a 95 mile range at a decent top speed of 65mph. The company is also stated to launch two electric scooter models, both of which use hub motors with 3.0 and 3.5 KW outputs. These scooters yield a range of 50 and 75 miles, which is good considering that there aren’t many people who take scooters on the interstate highways.
The Dark Side:
With no information on the pricing yet, we believe these machines might cost much more than other scooters currently available on the market. Since the range does offer more than many other competitors, it would definitely get some importance.
