Eco Factor: Efficient, non-electric fireplaces.
Winter season has just started knocking on our doors, and room heating systems are in high demand. In an effort to keep your home warm, the use of electric heating systems not only leaves its mark on the electricity bill, but also swells your carbon footprint. Arkaine has debuted two new fireplaces that can be mounted on the walls of your home – the Icoi and the Yan-Li.
The steel fireplaces can either be built into the wall if you are still planning out your new home, or can be hung onto one if you don’t want the old walls to be broken down to accommodate the fireplace. The glass doors of the fireplaces can be opened or kept closed depending on the requirements and the temperature outside. The fireplaces use dried wood as a source of fuel, which remain easy on the environment and highly-efficient.
The Dark Side:
Although the fireplaces use dried wood, they would definitely produce a good amount of fuel. If the chimney is not designed to capture the heat from rising smoke, then these fireplaces would lose a good amount of heat, rendering them inefficient.
