Forget all those leaking taps and kitchen appliances with a water conservation device that stops water flow without having you digging around looking for the stopcock. A UK-based company has launched an easy-to-use device, known as Surestop, which could give a new ray of hope to nations crippled by drought.
Research estimates that in the UK alone, over three million homes experience leaks in their homes, which could be accounted to over $1.8 million in water loss. The device makes conserving all that water as easy as turning off a light bulb. Using a flexible tube, which is lined to a wall-mounted console, the device turns off water supply when the switch is turned off.
