Eco Factor: Chemical-free dishwasher saves water too.
Several studies conducted on different users have found out that on an average, hand washing dishes uses significantly more water because most people tend to leave the faucet running or wash dishes several times a day. Running a dishwasher fully loaded, particularly if dishes aren’t pre-rinsed, uses about 35 percent less water than washing dishes by hand. One study by researchers at the University of Bonn in Germany found that hand-washing dishes uses between five and 86 gallons of water compared to four to five gallons for the average European dishwasher.
Steam washing is an environmentally friendly and a technically feasible alternative to solvents that are ozone depleting and have other undesirable characteristics. Reduced emissions, biodegradable waste and a safer environment are among the benefits. One of the greatest benefits of ultrasonic cleaning is its ability to clean items in a short time scale. Typically, steam cleaning cycles are considerably shorter than most alternatives. The cleaning process is non-destructive and will produce consistent cleaning results of the highest standards.
At normal atmospheric pressures, water can only get as hot as about 100 degrees Celsius. At that point, it turns to steam. The steam, in turn, can carry a lot of heat and, if pressurized, can continue to heat up, which enables it to sanitize objects. As water heats up and turns to steam, it can expand and take up more space than the water did. This fact means that a little bit of water can create a lot of steam — and conduct a lot of cleaning work. In the end, less water is used to get the same (or possibly better) work done.
In dishwashers, the high pressure and temperature of steam effectively loosen the strong bonds between muck and dishes. In essence, the food absorbs the steam, which in turn dehydrates the dried, baked-on food so that it releases its death grip on the dish. After breaking the waste down, a good rinse will wash it all away. Perhaps most important, though, is that the extremely high temperatures of the steam also kill bacteria and sanitize the dishes.

The Eco-Friendly Steam Dishwasher is preset to re-use the water for washing dishes. It has a waste container at the bottom of the dishwasher for cleaning purposes. The waste will be rejected by the filter and flow into the waste container automatically. Used water will be recycled by the dishwasher and will only be reused depending on the contamination of the water which it will automatically studied by the electronics, contaminated water will be released from the dishwasher through an outlet at the back of the dishwasher and newer water supply will flow into the dishwasher.
