Eco Factor: Lamp made from plastic bottle tops.
Industrial designer Brett Duncan has tried to give trash a new glow by converting trashed plastic water bottles into a green lamp. Dubbed Re-lit, the lamp is made using tops of plastic bottles that have been trashed after use.
Plastic, as you all may know, is a non-biodegradable product but after being trashed it loses some of its structural form. However, bottle tops do often survive and remain structurally intact even after being thrown away, which makes them ideal for recycling and turning them into something new.
