Eco Factor: Concept recycling unit and service allows users to exchange recycled stuff for supermarket discounts.
Recycling is considered great for the environment, it not only makes sure that you use less, but also makes sure that all that waste material gets proper treatment at the recycling centers. However, all these benefits are not enough to stop people from littering food packaging and empty bottles. Designer David Law envisions a service called “Your Waste,” which allows users to take their recycled materials to a supermarket and get paid for that in terms of discounts on the purchased items.

The service depends on a trendy looking recycling unit that has color coded compartments for different kinds of stuff. This design makes sure that waste is easy to segregate and can easily be taken out for recycling.
The Dark Side:
Getting paid for recycling seems a great idea. We appreciate the thought behind the concept and hope that supermarkets adopt the strategy quickly.
