You might be in love with your iPhone 3G, but without juice even the iPhone is nothing more than a 133 gram brick lying in your pocket. The folks over at Energizer have tried to double the time your iPhone takes to become a brick using the green and clean energy of the sun. The company has updated their Energi To Go line of rechargeable battery life extenders that have specifically been designed for the iPhone 3G.
The new entrants, though not as eye-catchy as the ones developed by Solio, vow to double the battery life of an iPhone on solar energy, and they won’t even burn a hole through your pocket. The AP series chargers include two devices that include the AP1000 and the AP1500 that are priced at $50 and $80 respectively, which makes them a much cheaper alternative to other solar charging beauties out there.
