Trevor Baylis has launched its new Eco Media Player Revolution, which is an upgraded version of its earlier wind-up music player. The new Revolution is upgraded to a 4GB version from the old 2GB in terms of storage and that can be extended up to 8GB. It supports almost all types of audio files and can play videos as well. The Revolution gives a solid 45 minutes of music backup after winding it up for 5 minutes. The best part is that it can be used to charge up your cellphone with an adapter. A single minute of winding will give you enough charge to talk away for 3 minutes.
While the wind-up technology has not changed drastically from the earlier version, the new Eco Media Player is surely a wonderful upgrade. It offers clean energy and sometimes that vital charge your mobile needs when you are outdoors. The new Revolution is priced at £130, while you can now get the first version of Baylis Eco Media Player for just £85.
The Dark Side:
The whole wind-up technology is just not going to be appealing to a large population, who are not ready to put in their money or effort into products such as this. This also shows that the technology with wind-up gadgets has very little scope for improvement and they are most viewed as fun toys or part of adventure gear rather than daily gadgets.
