EcoFactor: Electrical device to enhance gas efficiency.

With the increasing cost of gasoline and other automotive fuels, it’s very essential for us to find a solution that could be cheaper, efficient and eco-friendly. A recent discovery by a Temple University physics professor could dramatically improve fuel efficiency as much as by 20 percent. This diminutive electrical device consists of an electrically charged tube that can be attached to the fuel line of a car’s engine, near the fuel injector. The device creates an electric field that reduces its thickness with the use of a power supply from the vehicle’s battery. Thus, small drops are inserted into the engine causing cleaner ignition than a standard fuel injector. A technology that is capable of reducing emissions from internal combustion engines indeed is revolutionary.

The Dark Side:

This discovery certainly has massive potential and could lead to even better mileage in the near future, without forgetting that it also reduces the otherwise increasing the risk of pollution. I can’t spot a flaw, but I sincerely hope this is applied to all types of internal combustion-engine powered vehicles to sustain a “green” future.
