It’s Louis XVI in 2006 chic – it is one of the signature pieces in the Q Collection. It is the steely gray-blue Abigail settee couch. The couch has elegant curved lines, a tall distinguished back and shiny brass nail heads for an antique-inspired finishing touch.
But, what is so new about Abigail? It is said to be constructed with a water-based glue, and not the common carcinogenic formaldehyde adhesive. The wood is not the result of exploiting the forests. It is made from ash culled from sustainable forests! And to add to this, the legs are covered in non-toxic water-based stains and finishes free of harmful polyurethane. The naturally flame-retardant fabrics are also made with non-toxic dyes.
