Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and International Paper has unveiled the only eco-friendly hot beverage cup, which will be available worldwide in consumer outlets soon.
The lining of the introduced cup consists of bio-plastic, which is made from a renewable resource-corn, and the cup breaks down into water, organic matter and carbon dioxide also after being used.
Whereas the lining of the conventional cup is included with a plastic that is based on petroleum used for preventing leakage. The unleashed cup has been crafted carefully, made from fully renewable resources.
The cup not merely features an eco-friendly liner, the material employed to bring in the lining is made in a greenhouse-gas-neutral environment as well.
