EcoFactor: A mobile learning center and laboratory that is powered by solar and wind energy.
This amazing mobile project is called the “solar classroom,” but we would much rather call it the “alternate energy classroom,” simply because it even uses the power of the wind. This mobile teaching unit is aimed at helping children learn about green technologies and eco-friendly energy sources in a fun and playful atmosphere. The unit on wheels is powered by 500 watts of solar energy and 400 watts of wind power to ensure all its experiments go ahead without a power failure. Apart from the photovoltaic panels and the wind turbine it also is also equipped with a radio, weather station, refrigerator, microwave oven and loads of other stuff that provide research facility.
The Dark Side:
We do not see any dark side to this eco-mobile that both runs on green energy and spreads the eco-friendly message among the young minds. We maybe need more than just one unit like this.
