A tumble dryer does play an important role in our lives. Am I exaggerating its significance? I really don’t think so. Remember those times when you might have had to fix up a last minute appointment or had that sudden date or a party to go to? Now you want to wear your favorite pair of jeans or that impeccable dress that would make the best first impression. Then you suddenly turn to your clothes dryer. For someone like me, who makes every appointment look as if it was suddenly made, this is the most important device apart from the press.
But then most of us do not realize that these devices use up a huge amount of energy. A clothes dryer uses a lot of energy to produce that hot air which would dry up your garments in a jiffy. To solve this problem of energy consumption (& the bills, I always mention this, as personal benefit is a perk that helps spread eco-friendliness) a man name David Emmett has come up with a product named the ‘Eco-Dryer’. The machine works in similar fashion to your conventional dryers, in the fact that it uses hot air to dry your clothes.
How the Eco-Dryer works:
But that is where the similarity ends & the uniqueness begins. It uses a heat recovery system & low impact materials, which make it very eco-friendly. Its design is created taking in view every aspect of ergonomics. Sure, it would be a bit more expensive than your tumble dryer, but if you are someone like me who needs it so often, then this is the way to go. But it will take time to hit the market, so wait for it to make its impact.
