Yes, yes I know. You are thinking, “Ain’t the cliche supposed to be ‘drops of water make up an ocean’?” But then I really have never been a big fan of conventions or etiquettes, so I have decided to change one. Moreover, when change is done for the heck of it, it looks stupid. But in this instance you would find that the change is well-suited. What if every drop of water you waste unknowingly, could give life to a new plant? What if it could be the way to grow some beautiful flowers in your very kitchen?
Dish Drip:
Here is the little creation, which works on the principle that conservation is essential; large or small. So designer Erdem Selek has decided to save the water that drips off of your dishes & has decided to give new life with those drops. The designer has created this beautiful looking Plastic Dish Drip. It enables you to place more than one dish on the stand, while the water dripping of them, would go to the plant underneath. The creation looks sleek & stylish & fits with most other decorative stuff in your kitchen.
Now, all this sounds great but does it have any drawbacks? Well, it might be a simple creation, but I think it would be still better without “plastic” being used. Maybe the designer could use a more eco-friendly material. But still it is a terrific little idea. What I like about it is its attention to detail. It is a simple idea but, none of us came up with it before this. That is the magic of invention; it looks simple when once already done.
