Eco Factor: Concept car designed to be powered by an all-electric engine.
Toyota Link is an affordable and ecofriendly vehicle designed for the year 2030, for students who have high social networking demands. The low-cost vehicle will provide students sustainable means to commute and remain in contact with their friends even when on the move.
Students can meet at various Hubs to pick up their rides. Once occupied the vehicle links onto a transportation social network, allowing connections with other drivers to share the commute or trade music.
The vehicle will be made with Toyota’s patented electro fiber technology, “Link Skinz” can be downloaded and can digitally transform the vehicle’s shape into a personalized exterior design. The electric vehicle will run on SPHERES, which will be made from electro-conductive material that converts friction into electricity to refuel the vehicle’s onboard batteries.
