EcoFactor: Car modifier RUF Automobile rolls out a new electric version of the Porsche 911, which is not just a sizzling all-electric car but boasts of a performance to match the immaculate looks.
There are certain times in life when you measure up the pros and cons and take the right decision and then there are times when your heart races so hard that it makes the decision for you. One look at this Porsche 911-electric version and your heart would have already made the decision regarding the electric car you want to purchase. While the Tesla Roadster is indeed the master of its class, the all-electric 911 comes very close and gives it a run for its money. Remember that this is a modified vehicle by German car modifiers RUF Automobile. Despite that, it has a top speed of 160 mph and has a range of 180 miles. The car can speed from 0 to 60 in under 7 seconds and its 96 lithium-ion batteries pack the front and the back of this car.
While it is no match to the Roadster in performance and in obvious storage space, the sheer fact that this is the Porsche 911 is enough to sell it. If going green with sheer class is your motto then this is the car for you.
The Dark Side:
Since the modifications are not from the Porsche’s factory, expect a bit of change in quality. But RUF are known to be top notch in their work and hence your Porsche is pretty safe in their hands.
