Eco Factor: Zero-emission car powered by hydrogen gas.

An American engineer and stuntman, Jesse James has more about him other than his marriage to actress Sandra Bullock. The stuntman has recently entered into the record books with a hydrogen-fueled car, with which he shattered the land speed record for a hydrogen powered vehicle. The stuntman broke the record, which was previously held by the BMW H2R, which clocked in at 185mph.

The new record set by James was made using a car fueled by hydrogen gas and not liquid hydrogen. The car clocked at 199.7 mph in the Mojave Desert and was documented by the Southern California Timing Association. The vehicle used as a 1960s relic that has been used for attempts on land-speed records before. However, its new driver changed its Chrysler engine with a twin-turbocharged 9.8L V8 engine from Chevrolet that uses hydrogen gas as fuel.
