Eco Factor: Sculpture made from scrap metal.

Cambridge-based amateur sculptor James Hanslow has transformed scrap metal collected from a variety of sources into a T-rex dinosaur skeleton that is six meters long and 1.7 meters high. What initially started as a humble garden sculpture transformed into a one-ton monster that Hanslow hopes will attract someone who wants to put the skeleton on public display.

The sculptor spent three months in crafting bits and pieces collected from an old Cambridge railway, old farm equipment and trashed machinery into the dinosaur skeleton. The skeleton, which is modeled on pictures of dinosaurs sourced from the internet, has tines made from plough ribs, and the tail piece is made from spokes from an old wheel.
