Eco Factor: Filtering appliance provides clean drinking water.
Swiss Designer Damien Ummel from Atelier Peekaboo has designed an easy to use very basic water filter for people who lack clean drinking water facility in case of natural disaster. The “drinkbak” kit is composed of a container fitted with a filter that sits on a three-legged stand. The water passes through a filter which easily lasts over a month. The water filtering equipment is currently on display at the Young Designers Fair 2010 in Kortrijk, Belgium.
