Eco Factor: Zero-emission electric superbike with built-in GPS system.
CRP Racing’s Italian electric superbike, the eCRP 1.2 has recently received a grand unveiling at Castelletto circuit in Italy, where former 125cc World Champion Roberto Locatelli was seen riding it. The new green bike for the UK-based company, TTXGP will be the first Italian bike to join the world’s first zero carbon, clean emission motorcycle series.
The eCRP 1.2 is here to win many hearts with its Italian style and design combined with a strong racing looks. This muscle hunk is comes loaded with features like Twin Agni 95 DC motors, on-Board Battery Management System and 7.4 KWh battery pack. Weighing 160 Kgs, the electric superbike just requires 3 hours of charging and reaches a top speed of 200 Km/hour. Its dimension and shape make it easy to handle the bike.
The eCRP 1.2 is designed to TTXGP specs, which means longevity of 40km at race speeds, enough for a typical TTXGP race. In order to let the rider keep track of the closest charging point, it will have built-in GPS system. It will also have an emergency stop button just behind the rider.
