A joint wind power project is launched by China. The country did it in collaboration with Denmark. The wind power firm is located in the northeastern provinces of Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang. This is reported in the website of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
The project will take three years to complete, and Denmark will be providing the technical assistance to it, which worth 60 million yuan (1 usd = 8.00 yuan). By the end of 2005, Denmark already had a total capacity of the wind power installed on its lands of 3.132 million KW. And this accounts for 22.8 percent of its total capacity to generate power.
