Not shoes, but this time the Spanish design firm Camper has developed a shoe-like two-wheeled electric car. Named Lotus – the car is a personal commuter vehicle and can be recharged from a domestic power supply.
Featuring gyroscopic technology, the car has polycarbonate panels for protecting itself from the weather. To run on the roads of China, the Lotus hopefully will be able to help solve both its congestion and air pollution problem.
This is suitable for running in cities not designed for motor vehicles, although at the moment, it is only a series of computer-generated images.
